Dr. Marilyn Hickey, internationally renowned interfaith speaker, Bible teacher, and humanitarian, graduated to eternity on {Month DD, YYYY}.

Dr. Marilyn Hickey, beloved speaker, Bible teacher, and humanitarian went to be with the Lord {today} at the age of {XX}.

Marilyn Hickey’s long and eventful life made her a witness to many of the most significant and world-changing spiritual events and movements of the last 65+ years. Her autobiography, endorsed by names like Joyce Meyer, Joseph Prince, T.D. Jakes, Sr., Bill Johnson, Darlene Zschech, J.B. Brown, and Robert Morris, recounts her miraculous journey, transparently sharing details of her life and the processes God used to mold her into His servant.

An energetic and optimistic scholar and minister, Marilyn was arguably unparalleled in her quest to bridge the nations in seeking peace with all people groups and cultures. She was a respected inter-faith speaker and one of the most sought-out Bible teachers in the world. She traveled to over 140 countries in her efforts to find common ground for people of different cultures, faiths and governments.

Her legacy includes significant ministry in Islamic countries; and in 2016, over one million people attended her healing meeting in Karachi, Pakistan. Marilyn has held audiences with government leaders and heads of state all over the world. She was also the first woman to join the board of directors for Dr. David Yonggi Cho (founder of the world’s largest congregation, Yoido Full Gospel Church in South Korea).
Marilyn taught on radio and television for over 50 years, paving the way for women everywhere to have teaching ministries in the media. She co-hosted Today with Marilyn and Sarah, with her daughter, Pastor Sarah Bowling for over {XX} years and authored over 100 books and other publications.

She and her late husband, Wallace, were married over 50 years and had two children and five grandchildren. Marilyn received a Bachelor of Arts in Collective Foreign Languages from the University of Northern Colorado and an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from Oral Roberts University.
In 2015, Marilyn was honored at Oral Roberts University with the prestigious Lifetime Global Achievement Award. In 2019, Marilyn also received an International Lifetime Peace Award from the Grand Imam and President of Pakistan.

In 2021, Marilyn was honored with two awards from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary: The Pillar of Faith Award and the Smith Wigglesworth Award, given on behalf of the entire Assemblies of God fellowship. That same year, she was also given a Lifetime Achievement Award from then-President Donald Trump.
