Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!
Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing.
Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. (Psalm 100:1-4 NKJV)
Within two stanzas of this psalm, we are admonished to praise and worship the Lord, and we are given good reasons for doing so! We are told to make a joyful shout and to be thankful. Why? Because, It is He who has made us.
God is your heavenly Father, and He delights in providing for your every need.
Exercise “childlike” faith in God’s goodness; you’ll be amazed at how easy it is to praise and thank Him!
